I have done quite a lot of research on abortion. And have been against it. There has been only one argument that almost had me change my mind. And that was that the government should not control what we can do. But then I thought about what a government is here for. To protect our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We need to help protect this life.

I understand first hand the feeling of taking the easier way out. I had a terrible experience in my pregnancy where the father did not want me or the baby and hated me for not getting one. I was tempted and even went down the the clinic but could not do it because I knew I would hate myself for the rest of my life for compromising my feelings and for not doing what I knew was right. I do not hate or look down on people that actually do have one done. In fact I have friends that have had ones. I just think that it is important to protect the life of the ones that can't protect themselves.
