We moved into military housing on the post because we hadn't sold our GA home. We had to sign a waiver stating that our "historical home" could posibly have lead paint and asbestos. Have you ever heard of evaporator cooler? They are also referred to as swamp cooler, basically just circulates the outside air inside, I don't have A/C in AZ, I have a swamp cooler. When we first moved in I walked down the hall way and water was squishing out b/w the flooring. The 2 bathrooms both had severe plumbing problems. The list goes on, actually we wrote a 3 page formal complaint on deaf ears.

We did choose to live in military quarters because we were stuck b/w a rock and hard place, and I am counting down the days to hand over the keys back to housing. We do have to have the house professionally cleaned before we vacate as well, you have to hire a cleaning team at the tune of $350, $350 to clean an empty house. We have chosen to buy a house at our next duty station so we will never have to live in substandard housing again.
