While it is certainly true that Bush Republicans and conservatives don't believe the US is worth protecting, so they won't pay for protecting it, the claim that people are migrating to the US doesn't prove capitalism to be better than socialism.
In fact, it proves the opposite as the most common claim is that the Mexicans are leaving Mexico to "suck on the teets of the US socialist welfare state." And if you look at socialist Europe and UK, they clearly have lots of migrants "sucking on the teets of socialism."
On the other hand, not many people are going to places like Congo where they have no socialism but lots of greed seeking to exploit the natural wealth of that huge region. I think the taxes are quite low for many of the people getting rich off the wealth of Congo which would make it the place where American conservatives would want to be.
But American conservatives can't get their free lunches in Congo.....
