Talk about winnin'...check this out...I was entered in a freeroll NL Hold'em tourney yesterday at 6:30 so I figured I go over the the casino a bit early and see what was going on...usually Sundays are a bit slow and the NL games don't start till later so I played a bit of 2-6 hold'em...went up 140 and slowly didn't do much later on...cashed out up $40 for two hours...took a comp and kicked back to some shrimp cocktail...read a bit.

Went back with an hour to kill...got into a 3-6 Omaha eight or better...a high/low hand split the pot game with a full kill meaning that if there is a scoop pot...or if there is no low...then things double and it becomes a 6-12 game and a c-note can get knocked off in a couple of hands...I went up and down for near an hour and we got to where we figured to start cashing in over the next hand or two.

Anyway, not to turn a short story into a novel, I hit a straight flush and another guy had quads...qualifies for the bad beat jackpot which means I get like 25%...the guy with quads got 50% and the remaining people at the table split 25%...I got 980...and the pot of about 170...kicked the dealer the 70 out of the pot profit...not bad for an hours work.

Went on to the tourney...lasted a couple of levels and got knocked out...when I got out of the tourney they gave me 9 blacks, 3 greens and a red chip...I kept the nine hundred in black and changed the other 80 for dollar white chips...had fun losing that and went home with a pocket full of clay.
