I suppose if the governments only job were to mismanage your donation to its monetary coffers the fair tax argument might have some validity...but isn't our government spose to be about other shit too...it should especially protect to the best of its abilities that basic shit, you know, like life liberty and the pursuit of happiness...heard about that somewhere...

So, you figurin' the military should oversee all government stuff and things?

There's a bunch of other ways to serve, I'm figurin'
