I have heard lately about the pox epidemic in Brittian...But I heard it's because in recent years, so many parents didn't get the vaccination (DPT) for the fear of autism developing in their children, and there has been a marked increase in pox cases in the US as well. I also heard the rellivance to this increase IS because, while the diseases this vaccine fights have been virtually irradicated, immigration from other parts of the world (where the vaccine isn't readily available) those diseases are commonly passed throughout the population, and yes, these people do make their way to both the US and Brittain.
