Actually, when I was 19 I looked into enlisting because truth be told I wasn't doing much of anything at that time. This would be in 1989. I have a vision issue which precluded me from entering the Armed Forces but I always find it interesting when someone like you says that when chances are you never enlisted maybe because you feel (operative word) that your opinion means more because you are AGAINST the war rather than for it. Thinking it gives you more of a moral foundation to speak your mind - even though you never enlisted. Acting under that logic, then you really have no business discussing the war whatsoever because given your current emotional feelings towards the war you are in no condition to spout off about it.
