I make my own sauce too but i use canned tomatoes. I always cook mine overnight in a crockpot on low for 7 hours with roughly 3lbs of sausage in it.

Peaches, berries...corn...all of it. I've gotten good white corn down in Florida and nice strawberries and watermellon in California, but our produce is the best all around.
