Obviously this is sarcasm as far as my values..I would dispose of medical wastes properly regardless of laws..yet not everyone would. Is this an infringement on my rights? I mean really, most likely nothing would come of it if I just dumped it in a water supply or even buried in a hole somewhere. I mean really-if a local company that makes far more than I do feels infringed upon if they have to install something to reduce air pollution and they cry "politics of fear" should we all have such freedoms? Why are some industries outraged if they have to do some small part to leave the earth in the best possible condition for the next generation. Hospitals that follow federal guidelines spend millions to avoid polluting water, air and soil supplies. This all began with environmentalists. Do you think their concern was valid? Were they just fear mongering in the healthcare industry?
I grew up on the Saginaw Bay, 20 mintues from Dow Chemical in Midland, Michigan. I know first hand what chemicals and pollutants do to our waters and air. Corporations are liable and need to be responsible for their waste disposals.

My beef is with Al Gore and how he "discovered" globaloney and is trying to instill fear in people.
