I am not easily manipulated so terror, environmental issues, crime, economic issues do not cause fear in me. I am logical and rational and my conclusions in life are not based on trite sound bytes or vast generalizations.

One could easily point out that much of our military budget has been wasted and based on politics fear and that may be true, yet that does not discount the fact terrorism is a problem that needs addressed even though we have had the politics of fear brought into it. The same could be said about taking care of our earth. Some may bring the politics of fear into it, but that does not discount the problems that must be addressed. I just believe that their are serious issues that need to be addressed (without fear) in order to protect human health and the water and food supplies for the next generation.

In fact, if you bring politics into environmentalism, you should know that the last administration condoned lying and changing legal NASA documents to cover up facts. The person that was caught, resigned and went to work for Exxon Mobile within a week.
