Easy enough, a MA law will prevent modifications if it makes the car nosier. So in this case it is sound abatement and not oil companies that is restricting the modifications.

My sole concern is,,,100 MPG. That and an added battery and Charger...Other than that, Screw any "Bought and Paid For" Politicians...
