It would need an engine to compress the air but they claimed that it too would get 100 mph and would have a top speed around 95 MPH. They are claiming they could sell the car for $18,000.00. To me the issue with gasoline is not environmental but economic and geopolitical. Gas here in East Tennessee is pushing $3.50 per gal, up over a dollar a gallon from last year. This affects my pocketbook since I have to drive about 50 miles every day to and from my office. Furthermore, every dollar's profit the oil shieks make could be being funnelled back into groups that want us dead. If we could develop an alternative to gasoline we could return the middle east back to the stone age (unless of course they somehow cornered the market on 3 minute egg timers and could sell their sand)
