Things are what they are lexi. Suburbanite tried to say that black could be made into something other than black. The fact is, however, that the condition we describe as black, that is a condition or color which has no hue or brightness and reflects no spectral colors exists. Other cultures have called this condition or color different terms and no matter what it has been called, it has remained the same. The word used to describe a thing has no effect on the thing itself. If you could get the entire world to begin calling black "tape measure" the condition or color which has no hue or brightness and reflects no specrtal color would remain the same. The only change would be the word used to identify it.

Calling an unborn human being something other than a human being will not change what it actually is. They are what they are. Denying the reality does not change it. If you can convince enough people that it is something other than a living human being, you can certainly create the feeling that killing it is OK, but the fact that people have been convinced that they are not killing living human beings doesn't change the fact that abortion is killing a living human being.
