what is life without those things?
can we really say god wants us to be beings with no minds, no control, and no quality of life?
I can't see god giving us those things, those abilities if god doesn't value them and wish us to have them.

I recently read one really thought-provoking concept... we have life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. we may have life- but our liberty and pursuit of happiness can be taken away by our physical condition. we are in an emotional, physical, (and possibly spiritual) incarceration.

and honesly if sick people will go to heaven when they die, why are we so adament with making them suffer in this life longer than they have to?

its not that we come directly from apes. we have a common ancestor.
i think- not sure on this part- that skin color is just a genetic mutation.
That's simple to find out....just look at what has been revealed by God. One of the things that God finds to be an abomination is the spilling of innocent blood -- Proverbs 6:17. He declares that life is found in the blood -- Lev. 17:11. He declares that if any man spills the blood of another man, his blood also shall be shed by man, because man is made in the image of God -- Genesis -- 9:5-6. God tells us He is the one that grants life and all life comes from Him and is of one Blood and we in fact have our existence in Him -- "And God has made from one blood every nation of man to dwell on the face of the earth, and has determined their "preappointed times" and boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope they might "grope" for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us, for in Him we live and move and have our being." (Acts 17:26-27). Thus, one can only conclude that God gives life, God punishes those that takes life with out righteous cause, and if blood is spilled that is innocent God declares it an abomination, God has appointed each of us a time, or as the wise teacher in the Old Scriptures says....a season for this life, we must conclude that it is not up to man to take that which God has given...without righteous due process of finding guilt, also found in God's revealed world. How can we take someones life and declare it righteous by just the state of our emotions, as we feel sorrow for their condition?

What was God willing to pay for that life, any life? -- 1 Peter 1:18-19, the precious blood of His only begotten Son. Those with physical or mental handicaps, even though we might judge them to be suffering are no less valuable in the sight of God, as long as there is life there is hope. God has ordered special care for those that are not physically whole or healthy -- Lev. 19:14, such as the deaf or the blind...should someone that is terminally ill be respected any less? The book of Job speaks of special care for such as those that are these that are dying, "Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him. The blessing of him that was READY TO PERISH came upon me; and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy." -- Job 29:12-13. Thus it not only the hope of the terminally ill and their spirits that must concern us, but also of ALL the loved ones that must witness such a circumstance....should we just flippantly present hopelessness instead of HOPE? The scriptures tell us there is always HOPE, "The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dear are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them." -- Matthew 11:5

Thus should we let the blood of innocents be shed in our land for the sake of convenience draped in the cloak of compassion and self rights? Evil, is evil, no matter how it is presented, in Abortion, Euthanasia, or outright premeditated murder, should we remain silent and let it continue? BD
