In answer to the above quote, one, and only one, of the many concerns about the Patriot Act is the ability of any police agency to suspend our 4th Amendment Rights on the mere suspicion of terrorism or any other related action, a suspicion they are NOT required to substantiate. Indeed, under the PA, an officer can enter your home without your knowledge and have a look around while you and your family are away.
Care to answer a return question? What was the problem with judicial oversight that the PA had to eliminate the need for warrents?

Your interpretation of the Patriot Act is flawed. It sounds like a rumor that was started on some lefty website then grew into the ridiculous. Read the Act first, then get back to me. Surveillance directed at people in the United States continues to require court approval as it did before.
