Me personally, I would be very concerned placing such power, which totally destabilizes the Balance of Power among the three governmental branches, in the hands of a man who didn't give it a second thought to spy on each and every US citizen without court oversight. Dubya simply has no concern for the Constitution, nor the individual rights and privlages of a US citizen.

To erase even one line of the Constitution erases the United States of America. Our Founding Document IS the US of A, and should be upheld through all times of conflict and natural disaster.

History just may damn well repeat itself. National cemetaries across the north contain many innocent people from the Civil War era, imprisoned in POW camps with no due procees when Lincoln suspended Habeus Corpus.
