Most Education Reform Activists support school voucher systems. I just do not understand it. You can throw all the money you like at public Schools, nothing ever gets better and our kids keep getting dumber.

Let me hear a serious criticism of School Vouchers. I have yet to hear one.

Sweden, Ireland, The Netherlands, Chile, and Hong Kong have or are implementing School voucher systems. Why would this be detrimental to the United States?

Come on, I am waiting...
its selfish, thats why. people who are interested in school vouchers do NOT represent the majority of our population, who is very reliant on the public school system. this only takes money away from poor people and public schools and gives GOVERNMENT TAXES to religious institutions and private schools none of which is required to teach anything. there are also a lot of Americans who live far away from schools, and even further from private schools.
