My thing of late has been (sort of) a study of 1947-1954 changes in young white people's musical tastes; when they started listening to R&B ("race") music instead of the utter crap that was on white oriented radio at the time. As for the last. Someone once said that the difference between British and American humor is American humor is more "Isn't it funny that", whereas British humor is more "Wouldn't it be funny if"
