Even if your first sentence was true, that doesn't give the suicide bombers the right to target children. I have no issue with targeting military bases or even soldiers, but their targetting children makes them dead to me. The Israelis do not do this. Do children die? Yes, but it wasn't the goal of the Isareli to kill children (you may claim otherwise, but you would be wrong). This is similar to the US being in Iraq, so be careful in your response.
Second, the Jews did nothing to get the US in WWII on England's side. The Axis did that all by themselves. I think you are talking about the Balfour declaration, and that was in WWI. That had ABSOLUTELY no effect on the US getting into WWI. President Wilson hated Jews (almost as much as he hated blacks - real bigot that Wilson), there was no way he would have helped.
Also, the Arabs were NOT our friends. Some have been, others haven't. The Grand Mullah of Jerusalem was an ally of Hitler. Back the wrong horse, pay the price.
Now, was the establishment of Israel helped by the strange funamentalist christian desire that the jews be IN israel? Sure. But that wasn't done FOR the jews, it was done for the fundies because THEY believe this has to happen in order for rapture to occur, they jews merely benefitted from this (and the fact that the christians were wrong).
Finally, it had not been "arab" territory for nearly 500-800 years. Before that it was a british territory, and before that it was turkish. You can bitch all you want about such politics, but that is how all countries have been determined. The Jews now have Israel and their claim is as valid as Turkish, Arab, or British claims would be.
