Its always a sad story when the public can't stick it too a big company the way they really want to.
My question is why, after a settlement of almost a million bucks the woman ends up with about 40 percent of it. It seems like all she did was sue the trucking company for the lawyer. Now, if the lawyer really gave a shit about his client perhaps he would return about half of his fee. That would be nice.

You should have retained a Lawyer, then you would have gotten $8,000 for medical expenses and the Lawyer would get $12,000.
You would have have really stuck it to them evil Insurance Companies.
