You folks seem to know a lot about prisons. What is your source of expertise?

Matter of fact, if elected president. I would pardon everyone in prison on non-violent drug charges and every single tax protestor or person in prison on tax violations.
I fail to see why people should have to go Prison for not giving the Government money, either.

Non-violent drug charges? So a drug dealer who sells crack or methamphetamine to a 12 year old kid should go free? After all he wasn't violent. Protesting a tax is not a crime. Refusing to pay a tax which is due is. If you reap the benefits of living in America, why should you not help pay the bill? If you disagree with where your tax dollars go, or how much you pay, address it through your congressional representative and senator, or your state reps for state taxes. If enough people agree with you, and your reps refuse to listen, you can replace them through elections.
