It is interesting to note that Washington DC has the most draconian anti gun laws in the nation and the highest murder rate in the nation. Every state that has passed Right to Carry laws has seen a drop in murders, rapes and crimes in general. In 1973 three women were brutally raped and tortured although they called the police on several occasions. The police never showed up. The women sued the police but lost the case when the DC courts said the "police have no duty to protect any specific individual" If the police are not required to protect me then just exactly who will protect me if not myself?

The anti gun laws in that shithole called The District of Columbia are designed to promote criminal activiity by leaving all law abiding citizens vunerable and unprotected. Instead of allowing the people to protect themselves the DC "leadership" ("that bitch set me up") blames the law abiding people of the surrounding states for their inability to turn that travesty of our nation's capitol into something other than a third world country. Anyone who has ever visited Washington DC knows that you don't want to be on the streets after dark in any area and even before dark on most streets.
