Every teacher, principal, counselor, etc. you talk to will tell you the same thing: the more the parents get involved, the better the student does.

Oddly, though, they fail to tell you the obvious conclusion: if the parent takes over 100% of the schooling, the child can get the best education possible. But, I guess since it IS blatantly obvious, any parent who gives a shit will figure it out.
