Why has the US not simply recognized another state in historic Palestine? How would having another stable trading partner in our global economy be any worse than the current situation?

Simple, de facto, recognition would be less expensive as a solution, than any of our previous policy actions in the Middle East.

This issue should have been resolved last millennium. Why are we still wasting taxpayer money when we could be lowering our tax burden and improving our standard of living with more stable markets in our global economy.
