due to the fact that I know who have Masters and PH.Ds, and they
are homeless, sleeping where ever they can. Its not my place to
point fingers or judge them, but seeing them reminds me of where I
came from, and how it used to be because nobody seem to cared.

Everyone seems to think of a homeless person as being a alcoholic
or a dopehead, but there is homeless people who used to make
35.00 per hour, and the economic situations is so bad until their
workplace closed down which laid them off. If Education meant
so much why they can't get another job? I know guys who was in
Viet Nam with me (Fighting for this fuckin country), but they came
home to a homeless situation, and here it is 36 years later with
things no better.

Just because some of you haven't ate out of a garbage can don't
mean that you never will, and its good that many of you are living
high on Broadway (Good Things don't last forever). There is people
who is living good everyday, but they are out there looking for a
handout, and them are the ones who are making the real needy
look like they are pimping the system.

In closing, I know what its like to be homeless, but I could not
stand around having people talk shit like some of these posts, and
I got myself together now. I have been off the streets 10 years,
and within the 10 years I own my home, automobiles, have two
degrees, and co-own my own business. I am deeply involved in
the church of my choice (without anyone talking me what church
is right or wrong). I spend time with the people who is down on
luck, and I have learned NOT to point fingers or judge anyone.
(regardless to their skin-color)
I've met others in the same situation you were in. Kudos for getting your life back on track. Some people are just to dense to understand that there are good people out there on the streets that need our help.
