One of the points of this thread--was to highlight the fact that the religion of global warming is a seasonal religon. The climate fearmongering originally was year round--and problems arose with the religion.
For example--one of AlGore's early winter sermons--was being given why there were record low temperatures across the nation. It proved hard to find new believers and worshipers to global warming--when the water mains were frozen.
And if you say BS to that--you must admit to the fact that the activity of this category "global warming" really dies down in the winter--similar to the religion. But I commend you on trying to revive it with fearmongering of the last few 2 MILLION King Penguins.

Does this even deserve an answer? The temperature of one place at one time has no merit or scientific bearing on anything. If you cannot understand how greenhouse gases affect the earths climate and the impact it will have on ocean levels and most importantly drinking water then no one can really explain it to you. Just go to Buckeye Lake this summer and talk about how stupid all those scientists really are...

"All those scientists"--again we have to get back the facts.
1.The only consensus on global warming is that the earth's temperature has risen almost 2 entire degrees (oh my!)--this is fact--as for the rest...
2.There is no consensus that evil man is responsible--or even partially responsible--for this increase of 1 massive world ending degree
3.There is no consensus that our current climate is the ideal climate--and there is no consensus that a temperature increase will bring the armageddon that AlGore promotes.
Once their is a true consensus on man made global warming--will be when I join the religion--and dawn my tie-dye and bong.
Until then--I have a feeling we will survive global warming just as we survived global cooling and imminent death from ocean pollution.
And as I said to Sat--scientists--who do use science as a profession--don't get funding and paychecks for telling the world everything is ok. But just as with global warming--how the money and funding rolls in when you inform them their children are ALL GOING TO DIE!!
