One case that drove it home to me was a girl I was going out with her 16 year old brother went to a friends house, the parents were not home the boys dad had a nine mil. his kid had jared the lock and all five where sitting in the garage playing with it. One kid pointed it at another (not knowing it had a hair trigger or even what that was) any way shot him right in the throat and killed him I went to the funneral even after this tragic thing happened I shit when I herd people saying see the gun basicaly is evil. WHAT DUMB FUCKS IF THEY HAD TAUGHT THERE KIDS ABOUT GUNS FROM AN EARLY AGE THAT BOY WOULD NOT BE DEAD. So I do think it would be a good Idea to mandate a weapons familirazation and safety class so those people that had psycho anti gun parents do not have to learn by mistakes wich can be deadly for them or others.

I wouldn't oppose gun safety classes.....perhaps have a quick test to see if it is needed, kind of like the written test for a drivers license. Fail, then you need the class....
Nothing can be done about idiot parents, unfortunately. Sorry about your friend Shadow...there are far too many incidents like that.
A guy I knew had his eye shot out bird hunting, 'cause a stupid fuck he was with wheeled around and shot BEHIND him. Unfortunately there is no shortage of idiots in the world.....
