Do you know what a black ghostknife is? It is a type of eel. They are almost blind and usually seek food at night. They way they swim is awesome to watch. I always thought that their head kinda looked like a horse, with a white blaze down the middle. Beautiful and fun. Mine would come up and sit in one hand, while I fed it from the other. Got to be it wouldn't feed any other way.
Fish tanks are great stress busters, but can be VERY expensive and time consuming to maintain. We feed live, frozen and sometimes pellets.
We had an Arawana at one time too. Warning, always cover ALL holes in the lid of your tank, because they are jumpers. Ugliest fish you will ever see, but fun to watch. Ours jumped out of the tank while we were gone one day.
Back to the mockingbirds. How was I wrong? Right now our yard is filled with titmouse and cardinals. I was unaware that there are two types of cardinals until I moved to Oklahoma. The only one I ever knew about were the bright red ones.
