I will tell you this and it is one thing that is important (in a specific way).
It has been proposed to me (very convincingly) the Supreme Court should be made up of close to half females. Like it or not that high court DOES make decisions that do effect the way gender is looked at in terms of court rulings. This covers a number of things from abortion, to work rules, to divorce rulings, etc etc. I happen to beleive in this and Hillary Clinton would be more inclined to to appoint a women to the SC (there are some very good circuit court judges right now...this was really looked at by Bush---and don't mention Harriet Meyers because that was total BS on his part).
Feminism or not, more than half the population is female in this country. That is pretty damn good logic in itself to say we should have a female president and SC judges that better reflect who we actually are.
