End of story realy. People have a right to die with dignity and not live the rest of there lives with needles and medication being pumped into them day in and day out.
I would have fought it to the end, myself. I sincerely understand someone's right to decide to give up. When faced with invasive medical treatments and long drawn out and emotionaly draining situations like these.
I had a Uncle decide the same thing. Have surgery and live another 5-10 years with the assistance of a Nurse for 24/7. Or make peace with God and Family and live the remainder of your life with dignity.
