I don't want terrorists having equal rights. I want them to have special rights, so special that category will become extinct.

First off - ANYTHING can be used as a weapon
let's ban baseball bats, jump ropes, shovels, and steak knives too.

the kid had a SMALL pocket knife.
Back when I was younger a small knife assisted me in stopping a car fire when I had to cut a hot lead that was shorting out.
It was also good when a hose blew and the old one had to be cut off to replace it.

I disagree! by controlling the when and where of weapons it leaves large areas where ONLY criminal and terrorist minds can run free - unless you prefer a more intense and costly Police State where every hall in every school has at least 1 armed officer.
