SANCTUARY STATE
New York's Eliot Spitzer has officially declared his state a sanctuary for more than half a million illegal aliens.
The state of New York will
no longer require you to show proof of citizenship to get a driver's license. The Department of Motor Vehicles will now accept foreign passports and birth certificates as valid forms of ID. No need for a Social Security card to prove you are a citizen.
Spitzer says that we are changing this policy to get more people out of the shadows! Meanwhile, he points out that current "unlicensed drivers" are five times more likely to get into accidents.
Time for the congress to move to cut off all highway and law enforcement funds to New York, or at least a good portion of them, until New York decides that the rule of law is important and decides to help, rather than hinder our immigration enforcement actions.
Yeah, like that's going to happen.
