You have inobservantly hit the proverbial nail on the head. Several years ago, the source of income for the American family was a "single" provider, usually the male...with the lady staying home to "properly" attend to the nurturing needs of their offspring. But with the so called "women's movement"....more and more women left the shelter of the home to "seek" employment and "prove" their independence. The only problem with that situation when it happened in mass, as such was the case......the good earning jobs were filled by a moderate percentage of women, thus resulting in some families having "two" income earners and perhaps their neighbor having lost their job because the ladies had filled the position once held by the men only.......Now sad to say we have a situation...whereas, both parents have to work at lower paying jobs to take the place of the one provider. It indeed is sad but true. You have a household were both are making in excess what one used to make and in the same neighborhood you have a "man" who's family depend on him to provide and despite the fact that he has years of experience, he can not find employment....the womans rights movement have taken the jobs. And it is not only our economy that is suffering but our family institutions as well...with no one at home to teach them family values our crime rights has risen some 300%........from the time we first heard our women "ROAR". So one must conclude that women are the heart and soul of the American system of Values.....for without their guiding hand holding the torch as home.....our nation has slipped into a state of immorality.
