As long as our politicians are bought and sold like used cars it doesn't matter what you,I, Republican or Democrat think. When it cost 50M $ for a campaign you have lost your Republic & big business(facism-which is why you can't get anybody on the phone anymore, you think a monopoly cares about your problems), forgein countrys, are running your government. And all these topics are an exercise in futility. Trickle down theory is a joke. Exactly when did s*** start trickling anyway. The bubble we had in the 90's started from the bottom. There were so many jobs the bosses had to be nice to me for a change or else I could walk across the street and make more money. I had more money than ever. So I bought stuff for the first time in my life. Which created more jobs and a bigger bubble. And the ironic thing is stocks went up & up & up. Everybody was making a ton of money. We even got our country out of debt & had a surplus. Well corporate America does not want to pay a maid 10$ an hour no matter the profit. And they most certainly don't like being nice to me. Enter NAFTA and the process of shipping our jobs over seas. Trickle down? Explain it one more time because I don't understand. Why do you seem unconcerned about the 10 trillion dollars wasted on the war on poverty by bringing down the poverty level from 10.5% to just 10% in 40 plus years. As far as the 2 billion spent on national security, the primary job of the Federal Government is that of national security, now you bitch because the Feds are doing their primary duty and not spending as much on socializing the masses? Sounds communist to me. If we don't put security first, just what is left to socialize? You think the republicans are conservatives......you quit spending the money on defense and you can start imagining how our women will look in burkas.....a ban on drink....porn(whores would be stoned instead of paid 50 bucks a throw)....and compulsory prayer would be the message of the day.....sure spend all our resources on socialism and become like France...depending upon their neighbors to protect them, with the exception that the most powerful neighbor would be the ultra conservative Muslims. Sure lets bitch and complain about a few bucks some crack heads don't get to waste. Ever wonder why the ragheads brought down the ruskies? Could it be the fact that they were broke due to the fact of social communism? As they spend so much money on providing jobs and making the economy run because they had no economic engine ran by corporations....privately run corporations that pay taxes and bring wealth not only to the people that they hire but to the State by the taxes they pay in rate that is well over 50% of the entire income of the government.....now you are "espousing" doing away with the corporate engines and letting the State control all wealth? When you just got finished saying that the ruskies were brought down......why? Damn, just what are you trying to say? Or are you just talking to hear you head rattle? BD
