Uh socialism is based on a system for the people. not just for a few. Germany is the only kind of socialism people think of and because of that people think socialism is wrong. hitler was all for the people and he made sure his people were taken care of, however he took it too far and now socialism is a dirty word to the capitalist patriots of america. i am all for socialism it makes everyone responsible for everyone else making sure that the top 5 percent of this country have to do their part in helping the rest of their country man WHY? WHY can't the poor do more for themselves - it is THEIR ASS that is in the mess which the rich DID NOT put them into? WHEN are YOU going to give up more?? It seems to be more of a bother to you personally - so DO SOMETHING on your own for the poor! .... or are you just trying to con the rich into giving you something you have NOT EARNED? whom they took so much from in the pursuit of their billions. This whole i dont owe anyone anything idea in this country is sad because we've all paid the price sometime in our families history and all should be accountable for giving back. unfortunately the powers that be dont see it that way and katrina was a clear demonstration of that.
