When a building is brought down by explosives, you do not hear the explosion "before" the collapse. The explosives go off, the building comes down instantaeneously. I have been on the site of these things several times.
As the buildings come down, there are no more explosions. The explosives set the collapse in motion and there are no more blasts going off when a building is demolished. Every single explosive in a demolition goes of within fractions of a second. What the conspiracists point too is trapped air being expelled out the paths of least resistance by tons of debris pushing down on it.
The article loses credibility immedeately when it doubts the Popular Mechanics article solely on who the Publisher is.
