No, Libby did not "get off." He just doesn't have to go to prison, but the rest of his sentence stands. And, yes, his sentence was commuted because he has the highest of connections who did not believe that he should go to prison. Neither do I. It was said by investigators during their investigation that no crime had been committed so how do you send a guy to prison for obstructing an investigation of a non crime. Puzzling?
