By it's nature it solves conflicts that are NO LONGER CIVILIZED.
When Coercion ( and make no mistake, collectivism is not merely a government policy ) IS the normal govt procedure, there is no Law for the individual.
It's complicated to explain to people who are personally offended because their nation isn't as pacifist ( i.e. cowardly) as they themselves are.
A nation is made of it's citizens. You men and women here on this forum
ARE America... To ignore the fact that The Soviet Union was the most
overt destabilizing force in the twentieth century. The Philosophers and demagogues who inspired Stalin ( etc ) and his political mentor, Marx/Lenin, were preceded by legitimate academics. These propagandizing( or merely anarcho-skeptics of a hyper extreme nature[ D Hume for one] professors poisoned the minds of European college students. These "great minds" of Academia insinuated a number of corrosive social values. They did this by aiming at a persons subjective response. They used class envy and resentment to build up a hatred towards "the ruling class".
You should care who armed, trained, and molded the Arabic Nazis called Baathism.. It is a cancerous and destructive idealism that destroys the very
elements of civilization that make progress and peace possible.
It is a mistaken and resentfullly destructive european implant on a civilization that hasn't solved it's own religious militancy. ( obviously)
It was also forseen as far back as the early eighties. If the policies were successful against the USSR, it just might have to disgorge some of its puppets . It might even lose control of critical territories thought safe for communism. Like Poland.

But back to this alien pacifism the "liberal" academia have been spoon feeding us for over eighty years.. ( see John Dewey and his theories of education and social manipulation )..
What kind of citizen, ..Man.. would be so supine and appeasing in the face of threats.? What kind of American has so little appreciation for this incredible nation and civilization to not bother being rational and reasonably
knowledgeable?
I'm not talking college education... I'm talking about the ethical values that OUR providers gave us.. The men and women who came before us.. who didn't agree with every decision by every administration.. And certainly didn't WANT to die on unknown battlefields and streets..
THEY worked and were Americans and made the sacrifices that made THIS the greatest and most envied engines of progress humanity has ever known.
Consider the appearance of teachers squabbling in front of a crowd of truculent and jealous juvenile delinquents?
Maybe the staff ( or authorities ) should act less like children, and put up a united front against what could be a real criminal problem.
