With all due respect, this particular viewpoint is only one orthodox "endtimes" viewpoints. There are others that some fine Christian scholars hold. This one is the most popular and the most recent, being only a little over 150 years old (red flag?). It is a poor hermeneutic to look at the day's events and try to find it in the Bible. Newspaper exegesis is dangerous. There are plenty of good resources on the matter. Thanks for the time.
