I just can't understand the duality of the communist/socialist reasoning....first it is a crime if the Government.....helps a struggling major business...that does many good contract works for the People/Government...and perhaps employs thousands of average workers...providing the lively hood for such....but this is a crime......corporate welfare...then in the same breath...they have no problem whatsoever in asking for the same aid to be handed out....to research companies...that openly operates against the moral position of half the country......if this stem cell research is so important...that they need the money of the government....there should be no problem in staying within a few simple guidelines....no embryonic cell research...at taxpayer expense.....due to the moral implications....simple and fair...this in no way "OUTLAWS"......the research.....it just makes it unacceptable to let taxpayer monies be expended on research...that they don't accept as moral....simple and fair....if the research is as viable as projected there should be no problem at all in gaining private funding.....as there would be enormous earning potential.....the problem is we are being mislead..by the facts relating to the subject....or...as stated..funding would not be an issue.
