What he did not say was that yes we took away their haven and then invaded Iraq with no Al Quaida and we have allowed them to regroup along the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Pakistan has some nuclear technology-what if a new government gains control of Pakistan? I think President Bush took his eye off Afghanistan and has allowed a real threat to blossum. Were his words a lie? Did we really take away Al Quaeda from the bordering regions with Pakistan ?

So, let's take the words he said, add in some lines of what he didn't say, and come up with a lie? How about looking at what man said and determine if it is fact or fiction. From the line you quoted the only thing you can attempt to find as untrue is whether or not Al Qaeda has a safe haven in Afghanistan. If you can show this to be untrue then you can say he lied.
Why is all this effort put into dissecting the President's words for the sole purpose of finding fault? The man will not be President in another 18 months. What a waste of time. Maybe you could focus as much attention on the words he has spoken that you believe to be true!
