Well, maybe you are right. I have to go bake now, but let me leave you with this. I see the same thing happening in the repub. party that is happening with the dems. I think the base is moving more the middle in the dems, but the candidates that are being offered up (ones that stand a chance) are still very left. Obama talks moderate (because I think he knows where the base is) but in truth I think he's very left. People will buy into his moderate speech, and we will get stuck with another left loonie.
