Please remember that not all of US from New Orleans fit this mold. Some of us were well prepared and somewhat educated. Of course I didn't go to the dome in hopes of getting a new TV and furniture.

Of course there are those like the ones who tore down the fence to the Ibberville housing project about a month ago because they wanted "THEIR" home back. They wanted their lifes just like they were before Katrina so they threw out everything ( including items in 2nd floor apartments that were not damaged ) then call the TV stations because they are sleeping on the floor with no water or power.

Most were given a chance at a new life somewhere else. Now that they realize that theres no public transportation and no grocery stores within miles they claim that they are being screwed.

Hell, they don't even have people to rob unless they hike for a good ways.

Most of the city is abandoned for a reason.
