My kids have had friends on meds for ADHD. Their mothers would take them off of it for the weekend or vacations and their child will come to my house... they literally bounced off the walls without their meds. Yes, behavior modification can be done, but in the beginning to get a handle on the situation I think the meds are justifiable for true ADHD kids/adults.
